ReLeaf Anaheim continues its urban forest campaign with a tree planting today in the Jeffrey-Lynne neighborhood behind the Disneyland Hotel.
The group, which plans to plant 20,000 trees in the city by the year 2000, will plant 23 eucalyptus trees on one street in the neighborhood.
Volunteers for this month’s planting are welcome and should bring a shovel and gloves if possible. The planting will begin at 8 a.m. on Michelle Drive, with a brief demonstration before the trees are planted.
