Hearing Set in Hughes Pension Case: A June 3 hearing has been set in a civil suit that retired employees have filed against Hughes Aircraft. The Hughes Aircraft Salaried Retirees Action Committee contends that a $1-billion surplus in the firm’s pension fund should be used to benefit all retirees. It maintains that Hughes has increased benefits for some retirees, but not all. The workers will ask a federal judge in Los Angeles to order the company to provide them with names and addresses of salaried retirees.
