Four Community Leaders to Be Feted

Four business and community leaders will receive the first “Spirit of Giving” awards from the Foodservice Division of the Food Industries Circle for City of Hope National Medical Center on June 7 at the Anaheim Marriott hotel.
The honorees are Gilbert de Cardenas Sr., president, Cacique; Robert Emmons, Ph.D., chairman and CEO, Smart & Final; Sister Alice Marie Quinn, D.C., founder, St. Vincent’s Medical Center’s Meals-on-Wheels Program, and Anwar Soliman, Ph.D., chairman and CEO, American Restaurant Group, Inc.
Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:30. Tickets are $100 per person, $900 for tables of 10. Information: (213) 626-4611, Ext. 6280.
