Pasadena : Shuttle Changes Studied
Changes that would double fares to $1 for users who fail to schedule trips ahead of time and ending service three hours earlier than the current 11 p.m. are being considered in the Dial-A-Ride program.
In April, Mayflower Contract Services of Martinez took over the $630,000 annual contract from Medi-Ride of Glendale, which withdrew after the city refused a contract increase last year.
Three 9:30 a.m. public hearings on the proposed changes are scheduled: Wednesday at the Jackie Robinson Center, 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave.; June 18 at Pilgrim Tower East, 440 N. Madison Ave., and June 20 at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly St.
Also, a hearing is planned from 5:50 to 7:30 p.m. June 27 in the Central Library auditorium, 285 E. Walnut St.
