Lone Star on the Potomac: Texas took over the Kennedy Center in Washington to show off its cultural diversity. The capital’s prominent Texans turned out in droves for the 12-day program of Lone Star music, dance, film and art that ended Saturday night with a Willie Nelson concert. President Bush attended the Houston Ballet’s premiere of Paul Taylor’s “Company B.” Other Texans performing: the Dixie Chicks, the Gatlin Brothers and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
