An assault charge filed against Dallas Cowboy receiver Michael Irvin by a man refereeing a charity basketball game last month has been sent to a grand jury, a Ft. Worth newspaper reported.
Willie Summerling, 42, has accused Irvin, a former Miami standout, of punching him in the mouth.
