Keeping Track of the Jacksons

In your story on multimillion-dollar record contracts (“Keeping Up With the Jacksons,” June 16), you perpetuate the myth that Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson are two separate people.
It is well known in the industry that “they” are really just one person. Have “they” ever appeared together? Have you ever seen a picture of “them” together?
This is not unprecedented. Many entertainment figures have doubled their personas to increase their bookings and minimize overexposure.
Forrest Tucker/Sonny Tufts comes to mind in the past. Currently, Bruce Willis/Mickey Rourke is doing well in the movies. And, of course, in television we have Roseanne Barr/Raymond Burr.
