Paragon Gets $6-Million Order for Jet Engine Parts

Paragon Precision Products in Valencia said it was awarded an additional $6-million contract to produce engine components for the Garrett Engine division of Allied-Signal Inc.
Paragon will make compressor blades and vanes for use in Garrett jet engines that power military training aircraft. The new contract calls for 100 engine sets of components to be delivered over the next 2 1/2 years. Paragon recently completed a Garrett order for 25 sets of the products.
Paragon is a unit of Kleinert Industries Inc. in Woodland Hills.
