Two specialists on the San Gabriel Valley’s severe ground water problems will address a community forum in West Covina tonight sponsored by the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District.
Jon Bishop of the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board and Neil Ziemba of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s regional office will discuss their agencies’ viewpoints on the region’s longstanding water pollution problem.
The forum is part of a district campaign to learn the concerns of those served by the local water agency, a member of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the West Covina City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Ave.
