CAMARILLO : Applicants for Goals Panel Face Deadline
- Share via
Camarillo residents interested in serving on a committee that may suggest changing land uses in the city’s General Plan must apply to the Planning Department by Jan. 31.
The City Council voted unanimously Wednesday to form the 25-member Community Goals Updating Committee, whose members will be appointed by the council to represent a cross section of the city.
Once the committee submits a full report, which is expected to take about six months, the council will decide whether to review any suggested changes to the zoning map. Mayor Stanley J. Daily said new subcommittees may be formed at that time to study any recommendations.
Applications can be picked up at the Planning Department, or can be obtained through the mail with a phone call to City Hall at 388-5360.
