TriCare Profits Rise 73%

TriCare Inc., the Irvine occupational health-care services company, reported that second-quarter earnings rose 73% to $1 million, or 13 cents a share, from $578,000, or 10 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended Nov. 30 increased 38% to $12.1 million from $8.8 million. For the first six months of fiscal 1992, earnings rose 73% to $1.9 million, or 25 cents a share, from $1.1 million, or 19 cents a share. Revenue rose 38%, to $23.6 million from $17.1 million.
