Contract for Green Line Cars

Most major cities of Europe have a direct rail connection between the local airport and a major train terminal. Los Angeles, which is spending millions for an ultra-modern new light-rail system, will require two changes to make the transition: green to blue to red, or vice-versa.
This is lousy planning and antique in concept. How about dumping whatever is being talked about for the Green Line and simply using the same technology that is now so successful on the Blue Line? At least the hapless traveler will have to change only once when going from LAX to Union Station.
