West Point-Pepperell Inc. said Joseph Jennings Jr. has been elected president and chief operating officer.
Jennings, 55, replaces Edgar Davis, who left the West Point, Ga., company last spring.
Jennings previously was president and chief executive of Mt. Vernon Mills Inc. of Greenville, S.C., a closely held maker of denim and other fabrics.
West Point-Pepperell makes sheets, towels, blankets, industrial fabrics and apparel for men, women and children.
