CAMARILLO : Fund Created for Park Memorial
- Share via
A Camarillo volunteer group has established a fund to purchase and install a memorial to honor the late civic leader Harvey Eisenberg in Constitution Park at Carmen Drive and Paseo Camarillo, officials said.
The Camarillo Constitution Park Committee, which solicits private donations for redeveloping the park, wants to purchase a commemorative plaque, bench or some other type of memorial to Eisenberg, said William Q. Liebmann, the committee’s chairman.
Eisenberg, who died last month at age 62, was the committee’s finance chairman and was active in numerous other civic groups.
Residents wishing to contribute toward the memorial may send donations to the Harvey Eisenberg Memorial, City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo, 93010. Checks should be made payable to the Camarillo Constitution Park Committee.
