WEEKEND TV : Clintonomics: The Debate Continues

President Clinton’s proposed economic program will be debated on the public affairs shows this weekend.
Ross Perot will appear on “Both Sides With Jesse Jackson” to discuss Clinton’s economic package today at 6 p.m. on CNN. The program will repeat Monday at midnight.
In sports, on Sunday, NBC will broadcast the NBA All-Star Game from Salt Lake City beginning at 3 p.m. on Channels 4, 36 and 39.
Before tip-off, NBC and TNT will present the “NBA All-Star Stay in School Jam,” featuring pro basketball players and pop stars who encourage children to stay in school. Karl Malone, Shaquille O’Neal, Paula Abdul and Malcolm-Jamal Warner are scheduled to appear, beginning at 11 a.m. The program will be repeated at 2 p.m. on Nickelodeon.
