Salant Remembered: Walter Cronkite and Mike Wallace will speak at a memorial service for former CBS News President Richard Salant on Monday at the Museum of Television and Radio in New York. Salant--who died Tuesday--was president of CBS News from 1961 to 1964 and from 1966 to 1979. He has been praised for helping set stringent standards for journalism at CBS.
