By Extending Harrick Contract, Did UCLA Extend Controversy?
The most disappointing aspect of the decline of the UCLA basketball program has been the gradual acceptance of mediocrity. Bill Walton said it, and most of us alums agree, that winning 20 games each year and barely making the tournament most years isn’t good enough. Making it to the final eight and getting our brains beat in by Indiana isn’t acceptable to us now and won’t be 50 years from now.
