Electric Cars
We have in our community thousands of the most brilliant engineers, designers and builders, who are idle. We are closing aircraft factories where these citizens worked productively for many years.
When it was believed to be in the best interest of our nation, billions were spent to make supersonic aircraft loaded with the most advanced electronic technology. Even if the deadly mission of these aircraft would have meant the end of life on the planet, taxpayer money poured in and great planes were made.
Why can’t our government give an order to design and build an electric car just the way it did a fighter plane? The aircraft industry is more suited to design an electric car than an auto industry reluctant to give up the internal combustion engine.
Cleaner air and employment will make life better for us all.
