Superior Industries International Inc. said it has received two new contracts from Nissan Motor Co. to supply cast aluminum wheels for unidentified vehicles in the 1995 model year.
The contracts are valued at more than $7 million a year, Superior said.
The Van Nuys-based manufacturer said its wheels to Nissan will be for both export to Nissan in Japan and for Nissan’s U. S. assembly plant in Smyrna, Tenn.
Superior supplies wheels mainly to Ford and General Motors, but recently has been broadening its business to Japanese auto makers.
