Man Found Dead on Pacoima Street

Los Angeles police were investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found on a Pacoima sidewalk, authorities said Sunday.
Tony Banks, 35, of Panorama City was found about 4:30 a.m. Sunday by a pedestrian in the 13200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard, Sgt. Frank Reynoso said.
Banks was shot in the upper torso and was dead when police arrived.
Reynoso said detectives were searching for suspects and a motive in the shooting.
