Prep Senior Athletes of Year Will Be Honored on May 26

The high school senior boy and girl athletes of the year will be honored at the May 26 dinner of the Orange County Athletic Directors Assn. at the Anaheim Stadium Club.
Each league in the county nominated a boy and girl athlete. Winners were selected by members of OCADA and the media.
The leagues, their nominees and schools:
Academy: Matt Krug (Orange Lutheran) and Suzanne Jordahl (California Lutheran); Century: Todd Wines (Santa Ana Valley) and Christine Dahlberg (El Modena); Empire: Travis Kirschke (Esperanza) and Susan Huberman (Los Alamitos); Freeway: Brian Willmer (Sunny Hills) and Amy Wilson (Sonora); Garden Grove: Jeff Cummins (Kennedy) and America Robledo (Santiago).
Olympic: Jeff Zabel (Brethren Christian) and Amber Parkinson (Orange Lutheran); Orange: Ace Riggins (Valencia) and Amber Dickey (Valencia); Pacific Coast: Pat Barnes (Trabuco Hills) and Lauren Weaver (Estancia); Sea View: Scott Seal (Irvine) and Mollie Flint (Corona del Mar); South Coast: Jeff Carr (Mission Viejo) and Denise Kenyon (El Toro); Sunset: Tony Parrish (Marina) and Christie Engesser (Ocean View).
All nominees and their parents have been invited to the dinner meeting, which will feature as guest speaker Orange County Sheriff Brad Gates. The Coca Cola Prep Foundation will give a $500 scholarship to each winner.
