Dana Point Postal Shooting

It has reached the point that I actually feel guilty in receiving my mail knowing, as we now do, what turmoil postal workers go through every day of their working lives. And the oft-stated explanation of stress cannot be the real reason--there are very few positions in modern life that do not contain stress in varying degrees.
No, the responsibility for the current deplorable and dangerous climate in post offices belongs squarely with the supervisors and their callous attitudes ranging from indifference to downright hostility. Individuals can tolerate an amazing amount of hardship if they are only shown that they are valued and appreciated.
