Budget Proposal Update: The Pasadena City Council’s budget proposal to eliminate the city’s $130,000 Grants for the Arts program, as well as a “reorganization” in which the city’s Arts Division would merge with its Recreation and Parks Department, thus becoming the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Resources Department, is still being evaluated. The City Council Tuesday instead asked the two commissions involved to provide more input by early August.
