USAir Express Service said Tuesday that it expects to resume service at John Wayne Airport on Monday.
The service was interrupted Friday when StatesWest Airlines of Phoenix, an independent carrier that had a marketing agreement with USAir Express to operate flights, announced it would cease operations.
Jetstream International, a subsidiary of USAir Group Inc. based in Arlington, Va., will operate those flights until a permanent replacement carrier is named later this month. The change in carriers is subject to airport approval this week.
