Santa Clara 34, Santa Paula 14--Paul Soliz rushed 12 times for 163 yards and a touchdown to lead the Saints (2-4, 1-0) in a Frontier League game at Rio Mesa High. Soliz scored on a 35-yard run in the third quarter as the Saints ran for 318 yards. Sal Sanchez, Ramon Razo and Dan Cabana each rushed for a touchdown for Santa Clara.
