Woman’s Body Found in Pacoima Alley

The body of a woman who apparently died after she was struck on the head was found in a Pacoima alley Friday morning, Los Angeles police said.
The woman, who has not been identified, was between 18 and 22 years old, Detective Marshall White said.
The body was discovered by a passing motorist near the 10900 block of Sutter Avenue about 6 a.m., White said.
Friday afternoon, officers went door-to-door with photographs of the woman, hoping neighbors might know her, White said.
An autopsy is scheduled for next week, a Los Angeles County coroner’s spokesman said.
