Hotel rooms will be prized commodities in St. Petersburg from mid-July through mid-August thanks to the 1994 Goodwill Games.
The U.S. Consulate in St. Petersburg is warning travelers that several hotels have set aside blocks of rooms for package sales to Goodwill Games ticket holders and have stopped taking individual reservations.
About 2,500 athletes from more than 50 countries are expected to complete in 24 sports.
