In the other Division I semifinal:
Palos Verdes Peninsula 15, Corona del Mar 3--The loss ended the season for visiting Corona del Mar (18-4). The Sea Kings’ only losses this season were two each to Peninsula and Newport Harbor.
In Division IV:
Valencia 9, Chadwick 9, (Valencia advances on games 72-71)--The match was decided in the final two games as doubles team Sarah Liang and Mai Nguyen broke won their final set, 6-4, to clinch the match for host Valencia (21-3), which won seven of nine singles sets. The Tigers play Pasadena Poly in the final at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Claremont Club.
In the Division III semifinals:
Glendora St. Lucy’s 9, Los Alamitos 9 (St. Lucy’s advances on games, 81-77)--St. Lucy’s moved onto the final with the victory over Los Alamitos, which ended 16-4.
North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake 15, El Dorado 3--El Dorado, the fourth-seeded team, lost to top-seeded Harvard Westlake. El Dorado ended 16-6.
