Entrepreneurs: Numerous executives who lost their jobs to layoffs consider starting a business of their own. The Executive Entrepreneur Program, to be launched at the end of this month, could help point them in the right direction.
The federally funded program will be conducted by Infotec Training Institute, a division of Infotec Development Inc., which trains corporate employees in application and systems software. Santa Ana-based Infotec Development, Orange County’s largest Latino-owned company, makes computer software.
The program is free to participants. The first class will run for three months, three times a week. After its debut in Orange County, the program is expected to expand to Los Angeles County later this year, an Infotec spokesman said.
For more information, call Infotec at (714) 755-7776.
