GB Foods Corp.: The Anaheim firm said it has settled outstanding litigation with 13 franchisees who alleged in March, 1993, that the company had failed to properly disclose information about GB Foods’ restaurant business.
GB Foods, the parent company of the Green Burrito restaurant chain, said Wednesday that it agreed to pay $280,000 to the disgruntled franchisees. GB Foods also agreed to take over a franchise store in La Crescenta, Calif. The settlement ended lawsuits brought by the franchisees as well as a suit filed by GB Foods.
