OUTLOOK
Century begins its fourth varsity season of baseball competition and the Centurions have come a long way in a short period of time. After finishing in second place, two games behind Laguna Hills last season, the Centurions have enough power to once again nip at the Hawks’ heels. First-team all-league players Duran and Inocencio return as well as second-team selections Cevallos and Ochoa. All four hit better than .300 last season, with Duran leading the pack with a .370 average and five home runs. Replacing Pacific Coast League player of the year Tommy Reimers will be the biggest test for Century. Andrade will be called on to fill his pitching spot and the Centurions will have to collectively match his offensive output.
