Countywide : Free Screenings for Breast Cancer Offered

Free screenings for breast cancer will be offered Friday through July 13 to women in Fullerton, Santa Ana and San Juan Capistrano.
The screenings, by the San Clemente-based Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, will be offered to women over 40 and women of any age whose mothers or sisters had cancer before age 50.
Eligibility also is based on financial need and appointments are required, spokeswoman Sally Coombe said.
The first screening will be Friday at the Fullerton Senior Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave. Other screenings include those at:
* Spurgeon United Methodist Church, 1025 W. Memory Lane, Santa Ana, on Monday.
* South County Community Clinic, 33081 Calle Perfecto, Suite A, San Juan Capistrano, on July 13.
