SIMPSON MURDER CASE : What They Saw, When They Saw It

A look at the time frames provided during court testimony in the O.J. Simpson case. Many of the witnesses said the times are approximate:
9 p.m.:
Ron Goldman’s co-workers at Mezzaluna restaurant:
9:50 p.m.: Goldman leaves carrying glasses for Nicole Simpson.
Guest house tenant Brian (Kato) Kaelin:
9:45 p.m.: Returns to estate with Simpson after going out together for fast food.

10 p.m.:
Nicole Simpson’s neighbors:
Pablo Fenjves, 10:15 to 10:20 p.m.: Hears dog wailing.
Steven Schwab, 10:55 p.m.: Finds bloody Akita in street near Nicole Simpson’s residence.
Limo driver Allan Park:
10:25 p.m.: Arrives at Rockingham Avenue gate at O.J. Simpson estate.
10:40 to 10:50 p.m.: Buzzes intercom at Ashford Street gate.
Shortly before 11 p.m.: Sees a black person walking across grounds toward house.
Guest house tenant Brian (Kato) Kaelin:
10:40 p.m.: Hears three “thumping” sounds outside.

11 p.m.:
Limo driver Allan Park:
About 11 p.m. Brian Kaelin emerges from a path at the side of the house and waves. About 15 or 20 seconds later, Simpson answers intercom.
11 to 11:15 p.m.: Simpson helps load five bags into limo.
11:15 p.m.: Limo exits Rockingham gate bound for LAX, where they arrive at 11:35.
Guest house tenant Brian (Kato) Kaelin:
11 p.m.: Goes around front of the house to check on noise. Spots limo driver at gate. Continues around front of house to check on thumping noise.
11 to 11:15 p.m.: Helps load baggage into limo.

MIDNIGHT:
Nicole Simpson’s neighbors:
Sukru Boztepe, just after midnight: Discovers the two bodies.

5 a.m.
Detectives Mark Furhman and Philip Vannatter:
5 a.m.: Arrive at O.J. Simpson’s residence.
5:15 to 5:30 a.m.: They examine apparent bloodstain on Simpson’s Bronco.
Arnelle Simpson, O.J. Simpson daughter:
5:30 a.m.: Awakened by police in O.J. Simpson’s guest house.
5:45 a.m.: Takes police to house. Phones father’s assistant.

Detectives Mark Furhman and Philip Vannatter:
6 a.m.: Furhman scales fence

7:30 a.m.
Detectives Mark Furhman and Philip Vannatter:
7:30 a.m.: Police secure Simpson’s home; later search with warrant.
