Pentagon Approves General Dynamics Submarine: The decision means the company’s Electric Boat Division in Groton, Conn., will have new attack submarines to build once it completes work on a second $2.5-billion Navy Seawolf, the company said. The Navy wants more than 40 of the new submarines, projected to cost $1.5 billion each.
