60.2% Voter Turnout Is Predicted

Today is Election Day. The polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
* TURNOUT: Officials forecast that 60.2% of the state’s registered voters will cast ballots--about 8.8 million votes.
* ON THE BALLOT: Governor, U.S. senator and other statewide offices, seats in the House of Representatives, state legislative seats, 10 statewide ballot measures and local offices.
* WEATHER: Fair, with highs in the mid-60s to the low 70s.
