PREP EIGHT-MAN FOOTBALL PAIRINGS : Two Schools From County in the Playoffs

CERRITOS — Capistrano Valley Christian and Liberty Christian were the only Orange County schools that received berths in the Southern Section eight-man football playoffs that begin Friday.

In the Large Division, Capistrano Valley Christian (4-5), the No. 3 team in the Delphic League, will play on Friday at La Canada Flintridge Prep (7-2) in a first-round game.

In the Small Division, Liberty Christian (6-2-1) received an at-large berth and will play on Friday at Fontana Ambassador Christian (8-1) in a first-round game.

Small Division--Lawndale Masada (7-2), first-round bye; Lancaster Desert Christian (6-3) at Harbor City Gateway Christian (5-4); Cuyama Valley (5-4) at Los Angeles Pilgrim (6-0); Liberty Christian (6-2-1) at Fontana Ambassador Christian (8-1); Lancaster Bethel Christian (2-7) at Riverside Christian (7-2); Arcadia Rio Hondo Prep (5-4) at Antelope Valley Christian (6-3); Wildomar California Lutheran (3-2-1) at Bloomington Christian (7-2); Sylmar L.A.
