Volleyball/Outside hitter

Parks, from Lakewood Mayfair High, had a strong season last year for the Dons, earning all-Orange Empire Conference honors. She is playing well again this season. Parks had 26 kills and 45 digs as Rancho Santiago won a pair of conference matches last week. She had 16 kills and 25 digs as the Dons beat Riverside in five games Nov. 2. She had half of her kills in the fifth game. She came back to add 11 kills and 20 digs as Rancho Santiago beat Cypress in four games Nov. 4.

* Irvine Valley, sophomore. She scored five goals and had two assists as the Lasers won two games.

* Golden West, sophomore. She had 20 kills and 15 digs as the Rustlers beat second-place Saddleback and third-place Orange Coast.
