LOS ANGELES : Metrolink to Run Special Holiday Trains Dec. 10, 17

Metrolink normally is in operation only Monday through Friday, but officials announced this week that special Saturday runs will be made on Dec. 10 and 17 because of the holiday season.
Metrolink will run trains on Dec. 10 into Los Angeles from Santa Clarita, Orange County, San Bernardino and Riverside.
On Dec. 17, trains will run into Los Angeles from Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside.
Metrolink also ran special holiday trains in 1993 and 1992.
The special weekend fare will be $5 regardless of the distance traveled. Passengers with a December monthly pass or a validated 10-trip ticket can ride at no additional cost. For ticket information call (213) 626-7259.
