DANA POINT : Shelter to Sponsor Pet Adoption Program

The Animal Rescue Foundation of Dana Point is sponsoring a pet adoption program Saturday. Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lantern Bay Village, 24871 Del Prado Ave.
Sheriff’s deputies will present a demonstration of a canine patrol, and owners may obtain special microscopic identification chips for pets at a discount.
For dog owners whose pet licenses have expired, the event will offer a chance to renew them without being penalized.
