The Camarillo Planning Commission has unanimously approved a health maintenance organization’s plans to build a 19,120-square-foot medical building on the city’s east side.
The proposal by Foundation Health Inc., set for a vacant three-acre parcel near Adolfo Road and Avenida Acaso, would allow the company to retain more family practice physicians and to centralize services for members, spokesman Kurt Davis said.
The project approved Tuesday calls for the company to build a single-story building that will include examining rooms, X-ray facilities and a pharmacy.
