Mater Dei-Bishop Amat Tickets on Sale Today

Tickets for Saturday’s Mater Dei-La Puente Bishop Amat football game, for the Southern Section Division I championship, will go on sale at 9 a.m today at Anaheim Stadium.
Tickets are on sale at both schools and at Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are $9 and $8 for reserved seating, $7 for general admission, $4 for students, and $3 for children under 12.
Student tickets are available only on a pre-sale basis and will not be available at Anaheim Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:40 p.m.
Bishop Amat (13-0) is ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA Today and features running back Daylon McCutcheon, son of former Ram running back Lawrence McCutcheon. Mater Dei (13-0) defeated Los Alamitos, 28-24, in a semifinal game at Anaheim Stadium last week.

Two Irvine Novaquatics swimmers have signed letters of intent. Woodbridge’s Jaimee Lidstrom signed with New Mexico and Santa Margarita’s Brooke Martin signed with Nevada.
Lidstrom won Southern Section championships in the 200 individual medley in 1993 and ’94.
Also, Marina’s Angela Burke has orally committed to Regis University in Denver, where she will play softball.
