Development Post Filled at Museum

NEWPORT BEACH — The Newport Harbor Art Museum has appointed Karen Hinton director of development. Before coming to Newport Harbor, she had been general manager at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino for 14 years. Hinton replaces Louise Cummings, director of advancement. Cummings left last fall to become director of development at the AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County.

Hinton holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton. A classically trained singer, she has performed with Fullerton Light Opera, San Bernardino Civic Opera and others. She lives in Newport Beach.
