Obituaries : John H. Halley; Retired Corporate Contractor

John Harold Halley, a longtime Simi Valley resident and a former corporate contract administrator, has died. He was 63.
Halley, who lived in Simi Valley for 28 years, died at his home Tuesday after a long illness, said his wife of 31 years, Kay.
A native of Kansas City, Halley moved to West Hollywood when he was 17.
After he joined the Air Force and spent four years in Germany, he returned to California and went to work for Walt Disney Enterprises as a corporate contractor. While working in Burbank, Halley moved to Simi Valley.
After retiring in 1993, Halley spent his time fishing and working in his garden, his wife said.
In addition to his wife, Halley is survived by his daughter, Heather, and son John, both of Simi Valley.
