Man Wounded in Drive-By Shooting

GARDEN GROVE — A Montclair man was shot in the back of the head as he walked from a coffee shop to use a pay phone, police said Thursday.
Thanh Tan Huynh, 20, was shot at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday by a passenger in the back of a black Toyota in the 9700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, Police Capt. Dave Albrecht said.
Friends took him to an area hospital where doctors treated his injuries and determined that they are not life-threatening, police said.
The assailants were at large Thursday as the investigation continued. The motive was unknown, police said.
