BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : ELSEWHERE : Giants Put Wilson on DL With Tendinitis

The San Francisco Giants placed left-hander Trevor Wilson, who missed the 1994 season to undergo shoulder surgery, on the 15-day disabled list because of tendinitis in his biceps. . . . The Minnesota Twins put their leading hitter, Jerald Clark, on the 15-day disabled list because of a sprained right knee. Chicago Cub shortstop Shawon Dunston withdrew his appeal of the two-game suspension for instigating a bench-clearing brawl against Colorado. . . . The International League suspended 23 players from the Syracuse Chiefs and 17 from the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Red Barrons for two games and fined each $300 for taking part in a brawl Friday in Moosic, Pa. The suspensions will be carried out two and three players at a time.
