James Mark Tull, a Ventura man who worked a variety of jobs during his 42 years, has died.
A 1972 graduate of Rio Mesa High School, Tull was a Navy veteran who later worked as business manager, a welder and pipe fitter, a farmer and farm equipment mechanic, and a fisherman.
He enjoyed scuba diving, snorkeling and playing with his son.
Tull died Thursday from a chronic illness, relatives said. He is survived by his wife, Jane Niehaus, and son, Christopher Tull, of Ventura; his father, James D. Tull of Oxnard; his brother, Scott Tull of Ojai; and his sister, Kim Langford of Fontana.
The funeral will be Wednesday at Church of the Foothills in Ventura. Charles Carroll Funeral Home of Ventura is handling the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Turning Point Foundation of Ventura or to the Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurses Assn.
