Anheuser-Busch said its earnings rose 2% in the second quarter and that it will boost its dividend 10% to 44 cents a share.
The St. Louis company also said it will spin off its baking subsidiary, which makes Rainbo and Earth Grains breads.
Net earnings for the quarter ended June 30 were $329 million, or $1.26 a share. That compares to net earnings of $323 million, or $1.20 a share, a year ago.
