Van Nuys : 2 New Head Start Preschools Open

The Child Care Resource Center has announced the opening of two new Head Start preschool programs in Van Nuys.
The schools, at 5944 Woodman Ave. and 7224 Woodley Ave., serve low-income families with children ages 3 and 4. The free, federally funded program also offers medical, dental, mental health, nutrition and other social services.
Residents of Van Nuys, Tarzana, Sherman Oaks and Encino are eligible. Morning or afternoon classes are available. For information, call 755-1000.
