LAGUNA NIGUEL — Spearman Industries Inc., has purchased The Tennis Club at Monarch Beach and has merged it with its Laguna Niguel Racquet Club to form a larger club.
The locations are three miles apart.
A spokesman for Spearman Industries said the combined facilities will have 22 tennis courts, two pools, two gyms, two racquetball courts and two aerobics rooms.
Spearman Industries sold the John Wayne Tennis Club in Newport Beach to Ken Stuart in July after owning it six years. Stuart has renamed it Palisades Tennis Club.
