Hoover 31, La Canada 7--Emre Ozgur rushed for 121 yards in 16 carries and scored three touchdowns to power the Tornadoes (3-1-1) at La Canada.
After tying the score, 7-7, on a six-yard touchdown run, Ozgur scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 13-yard run in the second quarter, which included a 56-yard field goal by Hoover’s Marco Mesrobian.
Sam Paneno led the Spartans (3-2) with a 116 yards in 24 carries and one touchdown. La Canada opened the scoring on a seven-yard touchdown run by Paneno.
